Fortune taps Duke Energy CEO as 16th ‘most powerful’ businesswoman

Fortune Magazine has chosen Duke Energy CEO Lynn Good among the 50 Most Powerful Women in American business. Fortune published the list Wednesday. Good ranked 16th. Fortune said her mission was “to steady the ship after Duke’s merger with Progress” Energy in 2012. The list made reference to the ouster of Progress CEO Bill Johnson as CEO of the merged companies and the regulatory investigations that followed, as well as the general issues facing the Energy industry.
